Manort

A shared belief in useful robotics.

Founded by Saul Ortiz and Gulshan Mandal, Manort brings robotics engineering and artificial intelligence together to build machines that can help with everyday work.

Different strengths. One working system.

Robotics engineering and artificial intelligence, developed together.

Saul Ortiz

Saul leads the physical side of Manort: robotics, mechanics, and system integration. His experience in robotics competitions began in middle school and includes competitions connected with NASA.

He brings that commitment to building machines into the details that make the whole system work together.

Gulshan Mandal

Gulshan leads AI, simulation, and software at Manort, connecting intelligent behaviour with the demands of a physical robot. He received Pforzheim University’s 2026 Research Excellence Award in the student category.

His work turns ideas into software that can be explored, tested, and refined alongside the hardware.

Built through persistence.

We share a technical commitment to making things work. Our strengths meet in the space between an idea, a physical machine, and the software that brings it to life.

The whole system
Mechanics, controls, AI, and simulation inform one another. We build across those boundaries so the pieces can work together.
Build and learn
Progress comes from working systems, careful testing, and the persistence to improve what doesn't work yet.
Grow with the task
As we approach pilots, we plan to strengthen the team in safety, embedded controls, and business development.

Robotics competitions, research milestones, and the experiences that shaped Manort.
